Can autism be caused by drinking?

Some of you might know I am back in contact with my children, I seem to ave missed quite a lot including my daughter being told she has autism.
I didnt know I was pregnant with her until 14 weeks, during this time I drank quite a lot, could this be why?

I've never heard of such a thing, a lot of people who don't drink during pregnancy have children with autism. As far as I know its a complex genetic thing.Snootchie Bootchies!0

There is some evidence of a link between drinking during pregnancy and autism, but the far more likely disorder is "fetal alcohol syndrome" However, I think you'd have to drink extremely heavily to be at risk of this. See:
