Hi there,

Can anyone help with information please?

There is a website http://www.localcourierservices.net

which I have considered signing up to, to work as a self employed courier. Only problem is they ask for a fee to pop details on the site. Is this site legitimate? Anyone with any experience of them before I spend my money?

Many thanks.

the site looks like a cheap template that can be download from the net.

also all the testimonials are from people using free email addresses, which anyone can set up so these cant be trusted
also in the whois, why give the USA registrars details as admin and tech contacts. any genuien company would give their own details.

also a legal requirement is that he should display full contact details on the site, which he does not, so you have no idea if it is actually a UK run business

my own saying is STAY AWAY from this site.

if you want to be an owner driver, then contact DHL, city-link or any recognised courier company as all these schemes for owner drivers or the national courier association (http://www.thenca.co.uk/)

I agree, if they want money up front and have no address or contact number...keep your money.

They have an address and phone number on the Email they send you, It does though seem too good to be true with the eanrings potential offering a gross of 350 a day!

    Local Courier Services

    Unit 36, 88-90 Hatton Garden
    London
    EC1N 8PN

Here is the address they quote, I googled the post code and did a street view, and that address is an antique jewellers called berganza.

Berganza Ltd 88-90 Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8PN

so this one I should leave well alone

I phoned the Guy at Berganza , he knows nothing about this lot and is looking into them using his address

This address is a company registration address, there are many companies registered here.

As https://www.westone-business.com resides here which deals with company registration amongst other business services, it's not much of a surprise

    Hi
I also Googled street view. 88-90 Hatton Garden is further down the road on the crossroads. It has an agents board and is just a front door to a bank deposit building. Obviously just a business registration address. I phoned LCS number but no answer, just an computer voice.
The old saying, if anything looks too good to be true, it usually is!!!
