Fancy Dress - Theme: £5 max. spend

Hi guys!
I'm going on holiday with some friends in March. We're staying in a Castle in Wales! We've been the last few years and it is brilliant, you get the free reins of the castle when it has closed to the public.
Everytime we go we have one night where we party in the towers and have a fancy dress theme.
Last years theme was: Medieval times. My brother knicked my idea of a jester, so instead I creatively turned myself into a human Shrek! I used green face paint over my body as part of the costume! Unfortunately, I stayed a sickly green colour for 3 days afterwards as it seemed to stain my skin + wouldn't fully wash off! I think i've learned from that mistake! :rotfl:It was funny though...
Anyway... this year's theme is: Be as creative as you can but you only have £5 to spend. (This was chosen as I think most of us are tight of cash.)
The problem is, I can't think of anything that I can go as for £5. Has anyone got any suggestions of any unusual/interesting costumes I could make.
Just to let you know, I am a 20 year old male, so a Ballerina is a no go! Lol!:rotfl:
Thanks in advance

Could go as superman? Get some of those 3D glasses and pop the lenses out, wear a suit and white shirt, with a superman top underneath! My flatmate did this for halloween, and made his own superman top (felt tips and a £2 primark t-shirt!) Looked great. Just slick your hair back too!0

How about a load of white fabric and bandages, go as a mummy.
White painting all in one thing- a ghostbuster
Cardboard and silver paint - tin man
Straw and old clothes - scarecrow
If you fancy green paint again- the Hulk
Thats all I can think of at the moment!"If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.":DMiss Mona, The Best Little *****house in Texas0 -
Go as a tea-bag - that is really easy, two old sheets sewn together in a square, bit of cord sewn to the top with a cardboard label attached to it, a few 'perforations' drawn on the sheets with a felt-tip pen.... job's a good 'un!
Then with your sheets you also have the basis for costumes all year round, a ghost for hallowe'en, a toga for a Roman themed party, wrap it all round yourself for a mummy, drape it round a frame to be a snowdrift, drape it round another frame and use a carrot and some black lumps of coal and a scarf to make a snowman - the possibilities are endless!
Make sure you start with white sheets though, otherwise it could all go a bit wrong quite quickly ....

My husband had to dress up cheaply and went as a ninja.
Wear all black.
Make a ninja mask from a black t-shirt (search 'how to be a ninja t shirt into mask' and it should be the top result on the how2dostuff website). Either paint up a broom handle into a staff or buy a ninja weapon from the toy shop or amazon.
Either free or under a fiver depending on how you get your ninja weapon.0 -
I dressed as a zombie for halloween, cost about £5. Used white/grey/black face paint - looked really good. Some fake blood dribbled down the side of my head. Old Tshirt ripped and covered in fake blood. Didn't take me long to do and didnt cost much. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Check out your nearest pound shop - you may find a hat or accessory which makes you think "Ah ha! I can wear that with my ........ and go as ........"Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
