Utility Trust Funds

A few utilities providers have their own trust fund which aim to help their customers who have fallen in debt. Below is a list of these funds: who they can help, what the can offer and how to apply. I have collected these from internet and complied this list which is by no means exhaustive and if anyone can suggest more and I will happily try and add them to the list!

The E.ON CaringEnergy Fund could offer the following assistance to successful applicants:

The posts mention a couple of good schemes to help people but most utility companies offer a range of help for people struggling with bills. I can't give you links as a new user but check out Auriga Services Limited website and the schemes to help customers free download. It is an excellent booklet in pdf format listing what the various companies do and produced in association with the Institute of Money Advisers. Some of these schemes are regulatory requirements on the companies but others are totally discretionary!

The booklet is due for updating any day now so keep an eye out for the March 2012 edition!
