How about you try to get into your local newspaper and set up a website of how people an donate and things I mean most people would donate after hearing about you in the paperNew year, new comper here!
Wins for January- 2 free chapsticks, Celebrations.0 -
If you want to afford your family some privacy try 'Grants for indiividuals in need' available from your library.0

You could also see if local businesses could donate the materials needed for the soft play area. If newspapers are going to get involved they might donate as it would be good PR for them.
If your grand daughter is still at school you could organise a fun day or something perhaps.0 -
I help out as a volunteer at my daughter's Pre-School which is a small registered charity. We recently held an auction evening and got local businesses to donate prizes such as meal vouchers, a pleasure flight gift experience, pamper/beuty vouchers. We also managed to get some signed fooball memorabilia from a couple of premiership clubs where parents had contacts which really helped boost amount raised on the evening. Why not try something like this? If you get the press involved too then the sky's the limit!0

set up an account with one of the Internet shopping sites such as easyfundraising.org. Then recruit all your friends and family to register. When they shop on line you get a small commission, without it costing them anything. all the big names are there, M&S, Next Amazon, Tesco etc. Helps spread your message and raises a small amount of funding. And if you do try this then use the link which i will put on the referral board.
In that way my fund raising account will also get a small commission without it costing you anything. Everyone's a winner baby!!:j
Good luck0 -
Deanevans - advertising referral links should only be made on the referrals board as far as I know, regardless of what the money will be used for.
I'd advise editing your post so your advice can still be seen as otherwise a Mod might delete it.0
