Quarantining a virus

After scanning my computer, I have found a virus, which is related to stealing bank related details (i.e. online banking details/card details). It has been quarantined.
The virus infected an important file in the Microsoft Works directory. This software is pre-installed when buying the new laptop. It's the first time I had this virus.
I will be chaning my online banking log-in details.
Since the virus is quarantined, it won't be 'active'. I'm worried that if I delete it, the file would be gone, and the programme won't work.
Hope you guys can help.

Not the expert here but I'm sure you'd like a response ASAP! What's the name of the virus and what antivirus are you using?
I'm not quite sure if this is the right move but won't harm you even if you did is: (Credits for the method to AlienRIK)
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
P.S. don't think deleting the virus in the quarantine would affect your microsoft works: try and see if it opens now - if it still opens normally, should be proof that you don't need the quarantined thing (as things don't work in quarantine)0
