I found ebike insurance very cheap (and so have lots of friends).
They include breakdown cover and legal cover as part of the package.
You can also "pay as you go" (and get 1 years no claims after 8 months).

    The URL is something like
    https://www.e-bikeinsurance.co.uk

Never had to claim with them though so really can't say what they are like on that score.

Another name I've heard a lot is "carol Nash" which I think is a bike specialist broker.

For insurance I call as many co's as possible to get the best quote. For breakdown cover hubby has got Green Flag, can't say whether they are any good as have never had to use them but they were the cheapest at the time.

Hi - I've just taken out car breakdown insurance with Europ Assistance via
https://www.sharpinsurance.co.uk at £44.95.The documents show that it also can apply for motor cycles.Their website does not specifically mention motor cycle breakdown cover so you may want to check that out.Europ Assistance is one of the worlds biggest breakdown firms with well over 100 million customers which leaves the AA and RAC as small fry !

Green flag do stand alone cover as do Britannia rescue.
DO NOT USE RAC OR AA they are rubbish at fixing your 'bike.
RAC cannot find their asses with both hands and a map.
the AA were rubbish full stop - they sent a patrol guy when I told them the bike was knackered. they sent the wrong vehicle (a van to 'tow' my bike home) then they sent another wrong vehicle (no way to get bike onto back of lorry unless physically pick up bike (not likely with ?twisted frame and me broken arm), waited over 3 hours and then RELAYED home ie get to services off load bike, wait for another van load on bike drive to next services - you get the picture...
All my bikermates are with Green Flag and say that they are excellent.
    I am with Britannia Rescue.
