Default V12 Finance

Hello people, just a quick thread re V12 Finance.
I have two accounts with V12 and learned that they only search CallCredit and only report account conduct to CallCredit, so if you have a clean file with callCredit and you need to buy something on credit, then you might be in luck.
APR for std credit is 19% .
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

They must be using Hitachi for the finance instead of Clode Retail.

I rang them up v12 the girl told me they search callcredit which would mean only one search for my cashplus in a year, I went through laptopsdirect got to cart finance options etc.

Now then it redirected me to the v12 site went through all my details AGAIN only to be declined now either they arent using callcredit or there accept score is sky high? as everything is on time and most accounts have small balance with less than 1k debt to my 50k salary.

Anyone else had problems with this v12?

Never had a problem with an application, try ringing them up in Cardiff (Clode Retail) and ask to speak to somebody and they will give you a reason.

So Basically by your credit file they can assume that you will clear the finance before the interest free period is up and they will make no money from you.

.......... Declined
Ps I see your salary has more than doubled since oct 2009 well done

Yes I changed jobs in January to a client analyst role in central london life is good I have cleared all my debts.

I had an email from them stating the following

We regret to inform you that on this occasion we are unable to offer you financing on your intended purchases.

Your application was given full consideration through our credit checking system. This system takes into account information provided directly by you, on your completed application form, fraud prevention databases and a credit reference agency may also have been contacted.

As your application may have been declined due to information from a credit reference agency, in accordance with section 26 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, we are required to notify you that the Agency consulted on your applications was Callcredit Ltd. More information about the services available from Callcredit can be found on their web site at www.callcreditcheck.co.uk.

The fraud prevention database consulted was provided by CIFAS. More information on how to contact CIFAS can be found on their web site at www.cifas.org.uk

I subscribe to checkmyfile & my report for callcredit there is no credit searches(shock) and only 1 audit footprint my score for them was 797 without this application.

I am on the voters 7 accounts open, but 6 have a zero balance and the vanquis one shows 232 outstanding, but it has been paid off in full as it always is every single month by direct debit, but only has a limit of 250 so 93% doesn't go in my favour.

I have min 2500 in my current account since sept 09 with 3200 net going in by bacs, but I guess v12 didn't take this into account.

I rang them to find out what they are thinking declining me!, they said no negative info just score too low? i just bought it with my debit card anyways.

i too was declined today - checked my experian (who they said they used for me in my declined response) and everything is up to date. No missed payments, no arrears and well within my limits on accounts.

cant understand it to be honest... there answer is to check my credit file for the answer, and it is fruitless as there is nothing wrong with it!

It is strange as I already have a sony vaio which cost 1500 last year this finance was only a present for someone, but I felt if I took it out on finance it would help me in the future.

Clearly Not!

I checked all three credit reference agencies and it doesn't not show any cifas info on my personal file, does this mean there isn't? or is this only shown for banks?

Also Standard Access Request?

I realise due to my change in income it may send alarm bells, but nobody asked for verification or indeed a password which is on my credit file to prove it is me applying as I live in a rented house.

Could there be anything else as my everything is good according to checkmyfile apart from 1 credit search namely v12.

Subject Access Request - remember to enclose 10 with your request.
You're getting slightly confused mate. CIFAS registers a marker from a lender if they suspect fraud, usually this is fraudulent personal details but not so much salary, which is picked up by N Hunter.

I won't confuse you with the details but suffice to say, if a lender has put a fraud marker against you using CIFAS it is up to them if they allow it to show under the CIFAS section of your credit report. Some show there, others do not.

Therefore you must SAR CIFAS to get details, it may be a waste of 10 - but for the same respect it may answer your question.

Have a read here about SARing CIFAS: http://www.cifas.org.uk/default.asp?edit_id=692-59

Regards to your income fluctuation to over 150% within 3 months, sorry but no lender will really buy this so you may be better stopping applying for a while cos to go from 1500 per month to 3000+ per month in 3 months is hard to believe, but dooable - I dont doubt you mate, but I do see how a lender may look at that.

It may mean appealing a recent decline and sending in bank statements as the lender will then update their software with the new salary details which will drag through to the N Hunter software and help your next application (assuming that lender subscribed to N Hunter and searches Experian)...

Make sense now mate?

I am not totally sure, but they emailed me the above saying callcredit and will check in the morning with the others. I was thinking only moument credit card solely searched call credit.

Which is why I applied to test the water as until now had no credit search on call credit.

I will pay for national hunter and cifas as I have applied few times on equifax and experian.

I understand what you are saying but If they asked me to verify my income I would, but not one lender has.

Soon I will be paying 50p in the 1 and national insurance depressing.

Incidently how long can they store CIFAS info 13mths? as I noticed when I first moved here it showed information on two ex lodgers here then it was not there after a period.

National Hunter info how long can they keep it 12mth?
