No they do have a number assigned - older cards have the number printed on the SIM card pack/holder, the new pack has it printed on the paper envelope that the smaller SIM arrives in. I was just being stupid not seeing it!
If you don't have either the envelope or the card it arrived in, then I am not sure how you can retrieve it.

On your device, go to your dial pad as if you were about to call someone. Then enter the short-code *#100# , and press call, this should then run for a second or two and pop up a box with your mobile phone number in.0 -

Well I have had s thrilling day cleaning my cooker:eek: it was s mess as I dropped so much in it over xmas , I popped down to Tesco as I needed bi carb and vinegar and stumbled across the whoopsies and there was no one else there everything 10p , I’ve never been so lucky .., it’s surprising what can make you happy :rotfl:
