TSB recommend a friend

in Budgeting & bank accounts
had a email from TSB, £75 each and you can recommend up to five. doesn't appear to be on the web site, so not sure if it is a targeted thing or not.

    Don't think so. If you make a site search for "recommend" the second result takes you to the offer.


    Seems to me it's open to all.

    I imagine this will be over very quickly...by the weekend even...and cost TSB a small fortune at £0.75m...plus an ongoing £4 a month interest per account...plus cash for DDs if they're still running that promotion!

    I've posted on the referrals board (same two individuals) that clicking a link might be a waste of time if 5 people have done so before you!

    It doesn't seem to disallow previous customers does it? I switched away some time last year, so any reason why I wouldn't qualify?

    That would be a bit cruel of TSB, as they also advise you to post it on your facebook timeline (I don't have facebook so not sure how that works?), but If 20 facebook friends signed up and only 5 could get the bonus that will be harsh.

    Hopefully the link redirects to a "no longer available" after 5 people take up the offer.
