Hi so weve had three of these accounts (one in mine and girlfriend's name and one in joint)
Ive had to leave one of these open to keep access to regular savers.
Once i have not had the 5% interest for a year on the open account can i just ask for this again or does it happen automatically?
Sorry if this has been asked before somewhere

It was asked just this morning, and the other day too. The answer is that Nationwide have plugged the loophole that allowed a second bite of the 5%. It was always prohibited in the T&Cs, since day one, but now they're not allowing it at all.0

I've just checked the website, wondering if I had imagined that Nationwide had made it clear that the 5% offer was a one off (This is correct ), as the regular saver thread still has a reference to people being able to renew after 12 months without the 5%(in its opening listings).0
