From what I've heard (having no kids) is that after the first time you expand quicker because the body knows what it's doing? Least you already have maternity clothes and hopefully are not feeling the cold too much right now. I live in hooded sweatshirts so suspect no-one would notice for months if I did get pregnant.

    Lovely Mum. :)

Well today has been a car crash. Awful day at work, management meeting that was so brutal I ended up in tears. Any how, I have spoken to OH about it - who has been brilliant and will get back on track for tomorrow.

I wouldn't have minded, had the negative feedback been warranted. Big girl pants needed me thinks.

Second plumber came today and fixed the issue for £50 - that was much less than we anticipated given the feedback from the first plumber. Silver linings!

NSD today too, so things are looking up x

    Good Morning.

I have gotten through the remainder of the week unscathed, but did take the opportunity to have a frank discussion with my boss about what happened on Monday. I have now moved on and am looking forward to starting afresh next week.

On the money front, the vast majority of the bills have gone out and I have done an interim check of the accounts to make sure we are where we should be.

We are out today for a meal for OH birthday - all budgeted. We have two xmas presents still to buy and then we are all done.

I have claimed £6.09 from Quidco and sent it to the mortgage to keep things ticking along.

Any underspends in the budget will be swept to the mortgage to get us closer to target.

    Have a great weekend!

Just dropping in with a quick update.

OH birthday meal came in bang on budget (including a tip) and we all really enjoyed it.

Today has been quiet, xmas tree has been put up and online grocery order has been done for the week ahead.

    2 money fails this weekend;
DD dropped an iPad on the floor and smashed the screen
OH got xmas decks down from loft and there was water in one (condensation), but the three garlands in there were fit for nothing but the bin.

No more spends due this week until fri/sat. OT booked for next Sunday which will add a little to the pot for January.

    Good morning!

Just popping in quickly before I head into work. It looks like the OT will be adding up this month, as I will be working 2 hours this morning, 6 hours tomorrow and at least 2 more tomorrow night.

I will need to make some spends today and tomorrow, but as they are all work expenses, I will get them back.

No other spends planned this weekend.

Right, better defrost the car! Have a great day and stay warm x

OT done for the weekend - 2.5 hours clocked yesterday and 8 hours today.

My xmas meal yesterday was pre-paid as I had put the deposit on the table, so no spends there. Although I did pick up an xmas present for my little bro & gf (£40 spent on a gift card for an Italian restaurant they like). Just have 1 gift card to buy and xmas gifts are done. The gift cards are both budgeted for.

This week I will need petrol and food shop.

    Evening all,

Petrol and food shop done. I am ready for a break from work, 1 week to go!

I have been trying to get back into the habit of earning money/vouchers on the side. So far I have met 2 days of swagbucks targets and got 20p amazon gift card from a survey (3 mins). Its not going to clear the mortgage overnight, but it adds up x

    Good Morning,

Yesterday was spent running around between children's parties - LO had a great time (I was in bed for 8.30pm!)

I did have around £30 of spends yesterday - £20 of this was for the last xmas present. Just need to finish wrapping ready for distribution at two family parties next week.

I am looking forward to having a break, as I have woken up today with what appears to be the start of a head cold (booo!).

The week ahead is going to be pretty full on with workload, so I will spend today getting some house related tasks out of the way to keep on top of things.

Hit SB target again yesterday and will check out some survey sites while the house is quiet this morning.

I hope everyone has a great day x
