Claiming PPI on loans over 10 years old?

Hello Folks,
I'm wondering if anyone can advise on whether I should attempt to claim on PPI on loans over 10 years old? I don't have any of the credit agreements, but I know I took out a number of loans from 1993 - 2000, paying off the last one in 2003. I've read advice saying if the loans are over 6 years ago, its unlikely I'll have a case. Help? Thanks.

It's not that you wouldn't have a case, simply that the banks might not have records going back that far. But if you feel it was missold, and can explain why, then it's certainly worth a try.

i got back £5507 from accounts that were closed in 2001

I am in a similar situation and have contacted the bank for paperwork. They are saying that they don't have the details on record anymore. Do I have any options left? I don't have any paperwork myself I don't think. Took out the loan in 2002 and paid it off in 2005.

If they have no evidence and you have no evidence then you have no evidence on which to build a case.

Others will tell you that you can spend £10 on a Data Subject Access Request which might reveal something but it probably won't.
