Is Mortgage Insurance PPI?

Options
I've had two repayment mortgages since about 1997.
On both, I have repayment insurance that charges me a premium each month. In short, I think these would clear the balance of the mortgage if I died.

This doesn't sound quite like PPI, but I'm wondering if it is - and worth claiming?

Can anyone advise?

Thanks.

PPI is a short term policy covering unemployment and sickness.

    Life Assurance covers mortality.

    You have Life Assurance.

You don't have PPI and you don't have any complaint.
