Shared Ownership Entitlement

Options
Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a website out there that lists all the UK boroughs and their individual policies/criteria on who gets priority.

I do not know why there is not a countrywide set of criteria, it would make it so much easier, or at least a website that lists every local authorities criteria in black and white.......which I am hoping does exist? and I just haven't found it.

I am specifically trying to find out the Local Authority of Rushmoor's policy on this. Cannot find anything. Been looking for an hour. Nothing. I am pretty sure it doesn't exist on their website. Very frustrating.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I could be wrong (it's been 8 years since we bought our shared ownership house) but I believe the policy depends on the housing association, not the borough.

    As above.

I live in London, and within one borough there are many HAs, each with slightly differing criteria.

Not all the UK has "boroughs", for a start, and many of the local authorities have transferred all (or most) of their housing to housing associations.

I'm not sure a countrywide database would be all that useful, how many people apply for housing far from home?

Easiest way is to find out which HAs operate in your chosen area and give them a call. Will take much less than an hour!
