If you search on Google for "incorporate limited company " you will get loads of leads and the price varies enormously. Also varies if you want a company that's off the shelf (i.e. has been around for a while so you have a bit of a trading history which can be helpful for e.g. loans) or create a new one.

I used UKPLC http://www.uk-plc.net/ and it cost me about £35 to set up a new company which was cheapest I could find. Service was good. They also have lots of other services you could consider when setting up.

I suggest you call the people who incorporate companies for you for that for guidance. http://www.formationshouse.com/ do both new and ready made companies so they can advise you. I have no experience of them but just randomly searched "off the shelf companies" on Google and picked the first one..

WIth any company you should receive a paper certificate for use when proving yoru company exists. Make sure it's included int eh price (it was when I did it)

You could just go to http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ - i know the site is painful but get used to it if you plan to do the company adminstration.

Also you'll need someone to be a company secretary (need one and at least one director, but can't be the same person).

Same incopration firms offer a proxy secretay for a fee but easier to get the mrs to do it.

You can do an LLC in Arizona for less than in California. For example, http://www.companyinc.net charged less than $500 but http://paralegal-plus.com charges less in California. Arizona LLC formation can be researched online at http://www.fastincorporating.com
