Hi,
Does anyone know of any other suppliers which will provide a call divert to mobile, and free calls to mobiles too.
TalkTalk does ,
the Call divert costing £2.55
and unlimited mobile calling from landline is £5 a month.
The problem I am having is the line rental £16.70
and landline call package is £15.81.
I have a mobile , so I may ditch the landline call package all together.
Many Thanks
Dave

New Sky Packages include inclusive mobile calls, (not sure about the direct to mobile bit, although looking quickly at the Sky site i think that costs £2.50 a month)

I recon if you have a landline with inclusive calls to mobiles, it only applies to calls you make directly from the landline, if you set the landline on divert to your own mobile, or any other for that matter, any incoming call to your landline that's diverted to your mobile wouldn't be part of the inclusive calls to mobiles, because the call didn't originate on your line, it was diverted from your line and would be a chargeable, best to check with the provider if that's what you intend to do as it doubt you would get this arrangement for 'free'0

yes, it does divert all calls to mobile for free
(well "free" except for the monthly £5 and £2.55 payments)...
I've been using it for years, no charge.0 -
I've long used a CPS calls provider with my BT landline.
I used to use BT's Call Divert (then costing £2.50/month) to divert incoming calls to my landline to my mobile and that sent those calls out via my CPS calls provider.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thanks Heinz...
Never heard of CPS,
... having a quick shufty... 6p-10p a min to mobiles.
The TalkTalk one is £5 a month unlimited free minutes to mobiles...
I am looking at Skype redirect too
http://www.skype.com/en/features/call-forwarding/
&
https://www.skype.com/en/rates/
but, it looks like I'll stick with the TalkTalk one, as it seems a great deal, after all !
I'll probably drop the talk worldwide unlimited, and go for a basic calls package.
They did offer to drop the £15 anytime anywhere landline call addon & just do the broadband , line rental, call divert and free calls to mobile... all in for £24.25 a month0
