Oh right. That makes sense then. Phew.
just so I have not confused everyone with my small shop purchase today....I best clarify....
we have a local shop that is on the list who takes christmas orders and participates every year in small shops, this year they realised that in order for customers to take full benefit in the promotion they would take details and process once small shops started....
hence me being able to place my order over 2 cards this morning.
The shop does very well out of small shops and as a result gets lots of repeat custom through the year, well I do anyway...
but this year the cut off for their christmas orders was 1st Dec...hence holding the transactions until tomorrow but still being able to place the christmas order....
Hopefully thats clear now and apologies if I sent everyone into thinking it officially started today.
other than that shop...I've very little else planned this year small shop wise.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Huge thanks for all your good wishes. Yesterday wasn’t the easiest of days but we got through it. MIL is now out of ICU and making steady progress. One of DH’s cousins filmed people at the reception for her to see and we also took home the flowers so we can remake some into a little arrangement for her (flowers are permitted on the ward she is in). The hospital also allowed her sister to stay with her for the entire day, right from 9am.
The service itself, RC mass in church followed by short committal service at crematorium, went very well and I think FIL would have approved of it. At the end of the crem service we played Fiddlers Green by the Dubliners and much to our amazement everyone joined in and sang. Fabulous!
When our FiL was created, even do Right Said Fred by Bernard Cribbinsurance, oappropriate, he was a builder/handymanWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
