Car Insurance No Claims Bonus for Joint Policies

My partner passed her test last year and has been a named driver on my policy for the last 14 months however now she wants to start building up a no claims bonus. I have been told this is possible if we stay with the same insurance company but as per usual it's not competitive for the re-quote.
Is there anyway we can both accrue and/or be joint policy holders???

I've been driving for 13 years and although have points have 7 years no claims my partner has no accidents and no points but just over a year on a full license.
