Back again, tail fully between legs!!

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone will remember me - used to post a lot last year and was starting to make a big difference with the debt. however, I have moved up North and am working part time and up the proverbial creek BIG time. :o The only way out now is with a remortgage which will cover some debt (we were lucky to get a fab deal on a run down house and have nearly finished it - in just 4 months!!) but need to get back in the budgeting/selling/every penny counts.

I haven't got internet at home - was going to get talk talk but have heard so many bad things, I'm not sure now. Might get dial up as that's quite cheap and then I'll be able to carry on with my ebaying, and amazon too.

Been getting quite a few ideas from some of the threads on here - it's lovely to see how everyone is doing and to read about all the updates with house moves and babies etc.

I'll try and get on more - need my fix now!

Will get my head around doing another SOA but to be honest, I'm really quite embarassed as have fallen off the wagon big time, and got myself into stupid long term deals like mobiles and the gym. Grrrrrr:mad:

    Hi
Welcome back. We are not here to judge anyone, just to provide support. Well done for admitting that things are not going well, nothing to feel embarrased about. Good luck with your SOA.

    Hi Sea

Now you're back on this site I'm sure you'll be making indentations in that debt double quick! Like you I have spent alot of money doing up a house and having only just got my head around paying it back. Having remortgaged before (twice) I didn't want to go down that route although it was tempting. I am also a part time worker but have been trying to work extra days to increase the income, ;luckily this is available where I work.

I signed up to talktalk and had a few initial problems. Now its fine 98% of the time and as its so cheap I will put up with it!!!!

Anyhow welcome back and don't forget the SOA!

    Good luck!

Virgin have a £9.99 for broadband/local calls package. Only up to 1mb but that's better than dial up.

    Hi Sea78

Just wanted to say I remember you and I am really glad you found your way back!

Forget the blip you had - no point thinking about the what if this and what if that - and let's get on with the job at hand! Post a new SOA and I know no one will judge you for falling off the wagon. We will try to help in the best way we can, I promise ;)

Don't delay another minute, you know you can do this as you did it before! ;)

Thank you all for all the welcome backs...I know I shouldn't feel embarrassed, but I've buried my head so far in the sand and am worried about actually facing it all again.

I won't get a chance to read any responses til next week now, unless I manage to get on somewhere over the weekend.

We are having a terrible case of keeping up with the jones' as DH's family have all recently got a lot of money, through different situations and while this is great, the pressure to join them on little weekends away, or meals out is increasing. Must resist however! :)
