Fees question

I've sold two separate items to the same person. They've asked if I can combine postage which I will do if that makes it cheaper to send. Do eBay work out their fees on what I originally quoted or the revised postage?

Comments

  • The revised postage if you get them to use the basket and "request total from seller". Then is is calculated on the updated invoice you send. If however you do it via a PayPal refund then it's different.

  • Assuming the postage combined is cheaper by £1 or £2, that would make pennies difference to the fees.

The paypal fee is based on the receipted amount, so will be slightly less paid though :)
