Redundancy payment gov.uk figure

Options
I've used the redundancy calculator on gov.uk and it's coming up with a slightly different amount to what my employers have told me I am entitled to. Is the gov.uk amount set in stone? I've been offered less than the online calculator using the same figures.

    What are the two numbers.

age and service are needed to work it out, the date for service may no be obvious if PILON is involved.

    edit:

statutory redundancy will always be multiples of 1/2weeks.

the 2 main differences when comparing are the "weeks" pay or the number of weeks used.

A company can offer more than what the gov.uk site may show, but they can't offer less.

If there is a difference then it is could be as per getmore4less and the cause is that you are miscalculating your age at time of redundancy or the number of years service you have. If it's not that then put all the figures on here so the amount can be checked.

I went back to them and they have made an error. All sorted now.
