4k UHD under £400 best options

perhaps a better question is whats the best TV for £400

There is more than just pure resolution to factor into the choice.

A lot of the development of the stuff around the panel is now devoted to 4k is moving forward. while the 1080p TV are standing still.

UI, smartness, Look, blacks, brightness, reflections, connectivity, scaling engines, sound.......

To remove 4k from the choices because you cannot benefit from the resolution is not the smart choice, add 1080p sets to the list is.


Anyone can tell you your wasting your money on 4k but unless they come up with a better tv for the money for you to consider its a fairly hollow suggestion.

Have a look around for LG sets they seem to pack in a lot for your money and the webos3 supports a lots of smartness.

you could also look at something cheaper if you may want to be upgrading later.

unless super critical of your picture focus on the features you really need/want first.

It's cheap because its a generic TV built by Vestel in Turkey and re-badged Toshiba. The same place all the budget supermarket TV's are made.
You pays your money and takes your chances.
If you are on a budget, buy the best TV you can for the money. No rush for 4K a good HD TV will look better than a cheap 4K, or, take more time to save up for a decent 4K set......
