What is the best place to get a quote for home insurance,
and after checking there what companies should I try directly because they may not be able to be checked in the first place?
How does the quote system work? Is it based on type of build and number of bedrooms or number of rooms?
My house is traditional stone built around 1920 I guess, but with a big modern extension built in 2004, what would I categorise it as?
