Flat buying crisis

I signed a contract to move into a shared ownership flat.

    It's not very clear from your post what the contract actually says, but you can usually only exercise the right to withdraw after a longstop date if you're still waiting for the completion notice to be served - it's too late to do it afterwards.

    Sound like you can get out of the contract if the flat was not ready by by 1st September the longstop date.

    Your solicitor has seen the entire contract with its exact wording. We haven't.

    So you need to get legal advice from your solicitor.
