I have just started three types:

    Purple jalapeno
    Chocolate habanero
And some that look like cherry tomatoes (apparently)

I did start them a little late I think (about three weeks ago) but as I have a greenhouse I am hoping to get away with it.

Hungarian Hot Wax and Sweet wax started in Feb, Padron started in January, Habanero and Scotch Bonnet started about three weeks ago and some Russian ones I brought back from Moscow. Only planted those yesterday in the polytunnel. In the North East you have to hedge your bets a bit and spread your planting out. I wouldn't say its too late to get them planted now as we often get a nice September and October. In fact this year I was still harvesting chillies at the start of November.

Cool, some nice hot types there. Think it's too late to start growing the ghost chilli from seed, will try that next year. Hope these Apache work well.

Cut the apache plants back about a month ago, and they are already sprouting new shoots!

My apache chillis are still producing new fruits in a cold greenhouse! Has nobody told them it is winter?
