Went into a large store today so a little update for everyone!

All No.7 had sold out apart from the gold make up bags
Tons of David Beckham Aftershave/Body Wash sets left - These were either £9 or £10 and the aftershave is either 30ml or 40ml bottle
Lots of S&G left especially if the men's sets

Roaring Meg in Stevenage was a bit of a jumble sale this afternoon. Quite a few "premium" perfume gift sets (Dior, Jimmy Choo etc), loads of Sanctuary stuff, some Champneys sets, and a lot of the toiletry gift sets from the likes of Lynx, Hello Kitty and other cheaper brands. Even the things like slippers and leather gloves had been well picked through. I would say the best stuff has gone - at least one aisle was totally empty. Nothing which tempted me though, so I left empty handed.

As for the online sale - I was up and filling the online basket at 8am on xmas eve, and they cancelled the items I really wanted. Still delivering the cheap items I only threw in to bump it up to free delivery though. Thank goodness we have female children in the family who will appreciate Barbie smellies for the next few xmases and birthdays :rotfl:

Went to Guildford today and they had loads and loads of Soap & Glory. A lot of the cheap fragrance sets (Hello Kitty etc), homeware stuff and Sanctuary. Lots of mens Bench stuff and David Beckham etc. I only bought the gingerbread tin set for £4 and I had picked up a Jack Wills mug/sock set as all the JW stuff was amongst the sale stuff. I was told at the checkout that the JW wasn't included in the sale but I bought it anyway.

Just been online and bought a couple of perfume sets and the Beauticology gingerbread house bubble bath set as this is something I wanted and couldn't get in store. Bit disappointed really but will still look in Horsham on Monday when I pick up my online order.

I'm so glad I ordered my half price Yankee Candles online on Xmas eve! I went into Stratford Upon Avon Maybird around midday and well over half the shelves were empty. I had a half decent browse and nothing I wanted was left AND the only thing I wanted were several the food items! I guess it looks like I'm saving my points for another day

They've got loads of the soap and glory hat boxes in Bridgnorth. Well worth the money if you use lots of s&g products normally

Stevenage town store had a bit more stock than Roaring Meg. Loads of box sets by Soap & Glory, Champneys and the mid-range brands. An entire aisle full of FCUK men's gift boxes. Not very much in the way of gloves, scarves, slippers and socks. Same sort of perfume boxes as the Roaring Meg store - Polo (I think), Vera Wang, DKNY apple sets - nothing I hadn't already seen in Roaring Meg. Again, nothing really tempting, but bought the OH a Maglite pocket torch for when he walks the dog, and the Starbucks hot chocolate tins for me.

All in all, quite disappointed with this year's Boots' offerings in my area. Better luck next year, maybe?

Had another look in Boots today, Looked like hardly anything had moved from the shelves - Definitely not as frenzied as previous years. I think the Boots sale is slowly starting to lose some of its appeal each year - All bodes well for the much debated 75% off event :rotfl:

    75% Event? Isn't it usually 70%?

I had been hoping to buy some of the Jack Wills gift sets in the sale and have been really surprised to notice they aren't reduced. Do you think they might be reduced a bit later or they will just stay this price until they are all sold? Any wisdom greatly appreciated.

I am a bit clueless about the 50% off sale because I have always waited until the 75% sale which I always used to look forward to. However, last year was so horrendous, I am determined to avoid it!
