Does anyone on here give their dogs Aloe Vera, either the drink, the spray - any other methods?

I haven't got a dog dawnie - just a cat and an Aloe Vera plant. I use it for burns and minor skin irritations for myself, so when my cat had a problem with an irritated patch on his neck I looked it up on the internet to see if it was safe for animals.
It is safe, both externally and internally. don't take my word for it though - just google Aloe Vera and pets.

For several year I gave my dog Forever Living Aloe Vera Juice, prescribed by my vet.

    It really helped her arthirits.

My vet used Forever Living juice as it is made from pure juice. It also doesn't have the bitter taste of cheaper products which use the leaf and the juice.

You do have to calculate the dose according to the dog's weight and introduce it gradually.
