Apparently there’s some good snow http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/snow_reports.php? could be good for some skiing before Christmas. More ski flights start Sat 15th Dec.

There are also great prices over Christmas itself this year. Less than £200 per person out of Doncaster for a week in La Thuile (guess where we are going).

Careful. Avalanche danger 4/5 at the moment, and la Thuile had 1.20m!
The road to one of the side valleys was closed due to avalanche danger and the main road through the main valley was also closed, although the motorway remained open.

Thanks silverwhistle I've been watching the snow reports. We are regulars to the Aosta Valley over recent years and cant wait to get stuck into all that powder snow so long as we can get into the resort.
