Hello,
I am from Bermuda (a British Colony). My parents are both from the North-East and I live out there for a year. I'm trying to open a bank account in order to purchase property with the intent to move but for SOME reason Barclays and Lloyds will not cater to Bermuda residents. Not sure why the change as it was ok about 2 years ago. I can go with HSBC but REALLY trying to avoid.
Does anyone know of any other institutions (building societies included) that might entertain a non-residential savings account?

HSBC is a very good bank in my experience, any particular reason you don't want to go with them even though they offer what you need?0
