Audi A4 Door

Options
Hello. Earlier today, I parked my car at the train station, but when I came back in the afternoon, there was a big hole in the driver's door underneath the window. The hole is about 30cm long. What should I do? There was no note left. I think he just ran off after that. :(

Claim off your insurance after you've reported it to the police.

The hole is something like this, but doesn't get fully in the inside of the car.
Also, does it affect my insurance price and details?

It will show as a claim yes. If it's an older car it may be cheaper to fix it yourself.

Wow, that is some hole ! And definitely not caused by someone just opening their door into your door ( particularly as the metal is bent outwards ). There's more to this than meets the eye - a Dark Matter if ever there was one.

Mind you ... the photo hosted on a Dutch lock-picking website ??? Hmm, how long would it take them to break into a tin of pork luncheon meat I wonder ?

Buy a second hand door off Ebay. If you're lucky, you might find one the same colour. Maya a garage an hour or two labour to fit the new door.

Thank you everybody for the comments :)
I think I'll just buy a new door and replace it.

Have you checked the interior of your car to see what has been stolen?

Might have been easier to attach a photo of your actual car and its damage...possibly.

It looks like it was done from the inside. All the metalwork is pushed outwards.
