You were very lucky that the staffer did not know the date - the expired voucher would not have processed if it had been entered correctly.

I am very much aware - only tried it as they clearly didn't know how to do APGs on the system so were just using the supervisor override and having done the first valid one this way without looking too carefully I rightly guessed that they would do the following ones with an even more cursory glance :)

Potentially silly question, how much is the meal deal?

I have 10% offer in Halifax and BOS for Cashback, an NUS card and Coop members of that gives anything?

    Many thanks

    Anon

You get discount with NUS card.:)

The co op points given on this transaction were only worth 8p  but then the discount is substantial on its own.

You can also spend any points on your card to bring it down a bit more.

I dropped lucky to day with the cake too. Had one in my trolley then my :money: head took over as I knew I wouldn't have the willpower to save it until next week.

Had mine outside with my coffee and was still dithering about going back in for one. Still have a conditional spend to use so will see if there are any left later in the week.

    .

Omg - the cake was gorgeous def tasted expensive but if I'd known how much I would have sent OH back in as well for further samples :)

Its very sad, Waitrose coffee and free newspaper being the highlight of the week :)
