    Slots give you a preview of the sale and a timed slot to buy. Not such a big deal at a mid season sale which this is, but a BIG deal for the Winter sale.
    First slot for this sale is Thursday at 5pm, so those in that slot get first pick (of the public) of the sale.

    You get to see what in the sale now so you can write down a list of what you want and then as soon as your slot comes up which is before the sale is open to everyone else you go on and quickly buy what you want before it disappears.
