non acidic coffee
Options
My favorite coffee is filter coffee. At work, coffee is very expensive and apart from hot water, we don't have any other facility. It is a bit awkward to bring a whole coffee maker. Is there a compact one or a less awkward solution? If not and I have to resolve to instant coffee, can you suggest me a non-acidic one, because most I have tried are very acidic (eg. Nescafe Gold)?

You can get travel mugs with built in cafetieres, so you could take that to work with a supply of fresh coffee and simply add hot water.0

Use a plastic filter cone with paper filters - a lot less bother than a plunger at work (or home, even.)0

good find, thanks!
I will go for it
but just in case I find it easier with the instant coffee, is there an instant coffee that is not acidic?0 -
one question about the cones:
in an electrical coffee maker, the hot water drips slowly
with the cone, I suppose it drips instantly
what does this difference cause?0 -
also, I was thinking of metallic filters, but they don't block cafestol and I have problem with cholesterol
so, is there an easy way for a filtered coffee? and not french pressed?0 -
I find Kenco decaff the best tasting instant, but it is weaker than filtered.0
