Hi All
If you are in your notice period with your current employer and move to a new position in a different company, can you still claim your redundancy from the current company?
Is there a hard and fast rule about this or will it be subject to your individual employment contract or negotiation with employer?
Cheers

If you resign your position, you are not being made redundant, therefore no entitlement to redundancy pay.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Thanks.
So how does the concept of counter notice work then?0 -
I may have misread your original post, I replied thinking you were under threat, rather than it had been decided. This may be helpful
