Dear Forum,
An odd one for you.
A few years a ago I was made redundant by an employer, the problem is that I do not know which...there were three employers involved.
1. I have a P45 from employer A. (Employer A paid me on behalf of employer C)
2. My paye and nics record is with employer A.
3. My pension record is with employer A.
4. My redundancy payment was was employer A. (but taken later from employer C)
5. My redundancy correspondence is from employer B.
6. I was carrying out staff appraisals for employer A.
Employer A insists they were not my employer. Silence from employers B and C.
Who was employing me? I was supposed to have been tupe transferred from employer A to employer C before I was replaced.
An odd one for you.

P45 is fairly good evidence they were your employer till the date that says.
If you were TUPE there would be further employment records from C and another p45.0 -
Hi getmore4less, thanks
Only one P45, the employer A states that two years earlier I was tuped to employer B. Employer B was prevented from every paying me by employer A after the tupe date due to Civil Service pensions rules, basically the new employer B was not allowed to pay me. However neither of the TUPE measures statements mentions the fact that employer A would continue paying us a employees, and that employer B would be prevented from doing so. Indeed, measures statements state clearly that employer B would pay us as the new employer.0 -
what date is on the P450

Were you in a Civil Service department that was privatised? If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

a. Civil Service Department was not privatised.
b. P45 from Department gives a date of 30/4/13 but I remained on full pay until 9/8/13.0 -
So you are still a Civil Servant? If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Not according to a Minister and the Department, however a colleague has just had his retirement from the Department and the Civil Service accepted by the Department.0

With four months between posts, it's obviously not really an issue. Is it?0
