Can anybody HELP ME!

I bought a pram less than a year ago. This week my pram frame snapped while my 10month old baby was in it. Luckily he wasn't hurt but now I don't have a pram and I don't feel comfortable putting him in a broke frame.
I contacted the place I bought the pram from and they had to contact the manufacturer to see what they was going to do about the situation. The solution is it send me a new frame but I don't want this. I want a refund as I am not confident with this pram now. If the frame has already snapped with my 10month old already how is it going to cope as he gets older and heavier? So I have asked for a refund but I've been told because my pram is still under warranty that a refund isn't available. I am pram-less, I do the school ru everyday and I don't drive so I really do need a pram so I have had to go out and buy a new one as the company said they need a few days to sort the problem out.

Basically I want to know where I stand. Am I eligible for a full refund?

Both the short answer and long answer is NO. They have offered a repair and legally that is fine.
