So my partners in the army... home 2 nights/week and lives away the rest of the time.
We treat both our income as joint as we're together and both pay his and our rented house bills jointly.
Also jointly claim tax credits.
Just wondering if for the purpose of housing benefit and council tax deduction whether im classed as a single person....

As you share bills , a home and he is your partner (not lodger) you are not single.0

No. There are multiple of appeals and case law on this.These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0
