Got pip appeal date at long last.

it tells me in letter that if i have any more evidence to send it in at least 7 days before but as i dont trust them or royal mail can i take it on the day?

also i have never been to one of these before so what am i to expect and i have heard that they have someone from DWP at these appeals is that true and if so do they try and get the judge to go with them?

I wouldn't advice you to take the extra evidence on the day, if you do this then the chances are they won't have time to read it before the hearing. It says send it 7 days before, for a reason. I would advice you to send it recorded delivery (signed for) The Tribunal are nothing like DWP remember that.

There's not always a DWP representative there, only sometimes. There's also a judge and a DR. They will ask you questions based on how your condition affects you daily. Answer them with as much detail as possible. You can take someone with you for support.

Sometimes they can't make a decision on the day. If this happens they will write to you within a couple of days. Good luck.
