Can anyone reccomend a decent white paint for wood and metal surfaces that doesn't yellow? Gloss and Satin.
I used a Leyland Gloss and it has yellowed after about 2 months!! I have now started using a BandQ satin and certainly looks very bright - wonder if it will last.
I would also like to know if anyone has any info about tough paints as am painting a piece of furniture that will have things put on it.
Thanks for your help.

any solvent based paints do yellow after a while but do have a good shine , whilst water based ones don't and have a flatter finish - however solvent based are tougher than water based paints ,
try https://www.bedec.co.uk , the paint is w/b and the gloss has a reasonable shine and is tough0 -
I have found that Dulux trade is good, but pricey, however the best I have ever used is Wickes own brand, great shine, and has stayed white for ages.0
