Apologies if this is not the correct section
My girlfriend and I are hoping to buy a place together in the next 1-2 years (dependent on previous debt issues) and I will be selling my current property (currently let out) to fund the deposit
Is there an agreement we can get drawn up that says I will be putting in pretty much the whole deposit, if so what is it called and roughly how much is it likely to cost?
Thanks for reading

Do you mean to have on paper that you have put in x amount and she has put in y, so that if it came to separation then it would be taken into account?0

We have had a deed of trust drawn up which says the deposit will be returned to me if we sell the house and it's cost £150 plus vat0

the document you are looking for is Declaration (/Deed) of Trust
if you google it you will find plenty of guidance on what it says. At its best it needs only be one sentence, you can DIY or pay a solicitor to "write" it once you tell them what you want it to say.

Thanks all
I did try the search function but it was quite tricky as I didn't know what it was called and searching for 'deposit' comes up with thousands of answers
Thanks again0
