Payment back in my account

Options
Hi was wondering if anyone can help, I spent £200 last week money has been pending to leave my account up until yesterday, yet today the money is in my account and withdrawable, with no sign of any transaction on my account. I received the item that was paid for, will I have to contact the bank or will they be able to retry for payment themselves? T.i.a

No need to contact anyone yet. Some companies can be slow in claiming the money, they can still use the same authorisation when they do. Don't spend it again though !

If they haven't taken it within 6 months you can use it as they aren't allowed to claim it again without informing you, but you will still owe the money for 6 years (5 in Scotland).

Agrinall has basically said exactly what I was going to.

Your bank will have put it in outstanding/pending so you can't double spend it, but that usually lasts either a week or two, then falls back into your available balance. They can still claim this, but subject to the time frames already tated.
