USA- Hiring a car in USA (Budget.co.uk/com) - Is insurance included?

Options
If going to USA, NC Raleigh, or 6 weeks, and want to rent a car there, through the company, then is
is the car insurance usually included in quote price?

or it a separate payment?

Can you do a favour, go to this site

https://www.budget.co.uk/

and do a dummy entry for 28 days,
Location, Usa North Carolina
Pickup location, Greensboro

Car size - small.

Does it show that insurance is included there?

(so no extra has to be taken out?)

We know there are other car rental companies, but would like to use this one.

---and that is for 28 days.

can you also try for 42 days, as something happens to the insurance...
When you enter for 42 days (6 weeks) the insurance included seems to disappear (try entering the same as above but for 6 weeks, the included insurance to the package is not there, why is that?

https://www.budget.co.uk/

Basically want to hire the car, to drive around the state, and other states possibly.

Waiver stays there for both durations for me. Everything is included. If it wasn't, it would be offered as an optional extra.
Over £900 for a small car? That's no bargain.

Hertz comes in at £200 less. Toyota Corolla £150 less than a small car at Budget. Am I missing something?

It was the reviews which were off putting, for Hertz

Why are you stuck on using budget

I checked rental cars.com for the 28 day rental and it came in £60 less for a small car with everything included

Edit £100 less for the 42 days

The hire would be with thrifty or dollar for that price

Why pick a site where people complain? That doesn't make any sense.

Guess what happens when I put Budget in it's place?

Use people's experience as a lesson. Take a picture of your petrol receipt. Make sure your account is closed off before you leave the counter. Just sensible actions.

I use Hertz on a regular basis with no major issue.

Is there a reason why you've left your dates out?

Booking via Quidco etc will also give a handy wedge of cash back.

If you have the time, do a trawl of every car hire company/broker you can find and don't be hung up on getting an economy (poxy !) car thinking that it's always cheaper.
Mis prices/bargains do exist. I've just booked an 8 seat people carrier for a lot less than the cheapest 2 door economy (poxy). It took over 25 searches, but the offers/mis prices are out there.

    Six weeks with Hertz:

Still another 12% discount from Quidco to come off that figure.

Thank you for your input NiftyDigits.

Did that screenshot come straight from the Hertz.co.uk site?

    or from a broker site?

You might want to check Alamo's prices, they tend to be competitive.
