drug dealing is ILLEGAL
I'm left reeling by this post, and I am still trying to work out who is out-ironying whom.
Oh, and as Lincroft said, your £5k-10k savings are the least of it, really. You need to work out what your skills are, as you are the business's biggest asset.
BTW, cartridge refilling ....?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I'm tempted to say that if you feel the need to ask such an open-ended question, giving no indication as to what skills you have, or what drives you, or what you aspire to.......0

On another note, what about working a private detectitive. I hear business is booming...cheating housewives, bogus insurance claims etc0 -

I'd agree with DropBeat about IT-based careers like iPhone or web development. When I started out my initial outlay was tiny - probably only a few hundred (unless you count the cost of going to uni to learn it in the first place - but degree/no-degree is a whole other debate!) After 3 years my annual running costs are still very low - mainly just hosting and a bit of advertising.
The main thing to remember is that you could go for months before your business starts to turn a profit, during which time you still need to eat If you're planning to quit your day job whilst developing your new business, I'd allow most of your savings just to cover this.0 -
Thread moved to the small business board for ideas, this is not the right place for it0
