Want to know which current accounts actually allow interest to be earned for a single recurring direct debit. I.e. Requiring 3 DDs for interest but using 1 single mandate which pulls money once every 3 weeks. Credegion has linked a post saying this works for Tesco.

Pointless now Tesco are withdrawing DD from next month, but Coop allow you to use Tesco savings to be pulled via DD four times to get their cashback each month, but like I say Tesco are pulling this next month.

Many of the banks say you need to pay out each month, some say they have to only be active, some say pay out to two different companies..

Read the T&C's of the account you are looking for to see what they require of you to do and the number of DD needed, and what type if using cashback options.
