How long will a suretart application take?

Hi just wondering if anyone has applied for one recently. just realised I have reached the entitlement period, and sent off the form this morning.
Any ideas how long it will take?
My previous experience of the social is making me think it could be weeks.

Surestart applications have a 5 day clearance target. So in theory social fund should process it within 5 days of receipt but depends what your local social is like for staff etc...they usually get priority treatment.
