Benefit Inquiry Hotline?

Is there such a thing as a benefit inquiry hotline to ask questions (Such as "what would happen if this was the case" ) anon?
I remember when this was just a little website! :money:

These folk don't have access to your personal file so cannot answer specific questions. Nor can they definitely say exactly what will happen in a particular circumstance as they cannot prejudge what a Decision Maker will say when faced with all the evidence.

Although they are a DWP based department their guidance is on the whole based on Disability Alliance publication - Disability Rights Handbook rather than on DWP official Decision Makers Guide there are therefore some questions which they are unable to answer.

Because I frequently ask hypothetical questions on behalf of posters here and elsewhere I have built up a few contacts who are willing to respond constructively to such questions however there is always the possibility that what is standard practice in one office is not always followed in another.
