Thanks dawnybabes. I will do, I'm getting on ok the now, just checking the back of absolutely everything before I eat it.

Not posted in the last few days as I haven't really had much to report. Thursday and Friday were NSDs and I went to the gym both days as well. Yesterday I spent £8.80 on GF foods in sa*nsburys and £13.73 in a*di.

Today will be a NSD as I'm working all day. I managed to pick up a 6 hr shift with 2nd job before my usual shift at my work so pleased with that. However I'm going to hold off putting my timesheet in just in case I don't pick up anything for this week.
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10552.61/£15000 (70.4% saved). Emergency fund - £1437.01/£1500 (95.8% saved).

I can feel my motivation for posting everyday slipping away so really need to get back into it. I think it's just because I know that there will be no debt reduction in June, however, not posting on here is a surefire way to go completely off budget so will make more of an effort.

I have a day off today although have said to 2nd job that I would be free for a late shift so hopefully something will come in. I've got the dentist this morning so fingers crossed that I won't need any work done as my emergency fund won't cover very much. I'm also meeting a friend for lunch today, however, I have enough in my purse to cover this.

I got my payslip in for monthly wage so need to make a budget for this but am waiting until I've been to the dentist in case I need work done and need to factor it into the budget.

Thanks monz. I will definitely keep posting as it helps me stick to the budget but I think it will be more difficult to keep up motivation next month without seeing the debt go down.

I seem to have had quite a spendy day today.
    - £17 at the dentist plus some new toothpaste and mouthwash for sensitive teeth
    - £10 lunch
    - £5.50 present for my gran
    - £3 craft bits for making cards
    - £4 bus fare to visit a friend in hospital

The £17 for dentist came from the emergency fund and I will replace it on payday. So happy it wasn't any more.

    So the budget...£1074.29
    - £575 rent
    - £125 direct debits
    - £25 cc2
    - £12 tv license
    - £128 council tax
    - £29.29 emergency fund
Leaving £180 for the hen weekend and wedding

Hi MissT. £17 isnt too bad for the dentist I don't think, my trips are usually double that (they usually convince me I need to see the hygienist, even though they tell me everything is absolutely fine!)
There is always going to be slow months, but as long as the debt isnt going back up, then its all ok. Plus, you have a lot planned (and budgeted for) so better that than things you havent planned for cropping up.

The dentist was actually only £10.60 for cleaning my teeth so was really pleased with that. She did say that there was a couple of areas that were of slight concern and that might need filling at a later date but hopefully I will have a proper emergency fund by then.

My debt will only drop by £25 in June so a very slow month but looking forward to getting on with it in July.

Payday today :j I have put by the rent and direct debits money, made the payment to cc2 and put the money into the emergency fund. I will pay the tv licence and council tax tomorrow.

I got a £1.50 off a £10 spend in Sa*nsburys last time I was there so I popped there after work and spend £11.37 on a few bits that we needed. I also got another £1.50 voucher so might use that next week

I've picked up a wee 5 hour shift tomorrow for 2nd job plus 2 long shifts for next week so things certainly seem to be looking up on that front :D

I will get £126.49 tomorrow for doing that 14 hour shift last week.
    - £26.49 emergency fund
    - £10 bus fares (my shifts for 2nd job next week are too far to walk so will need bus fare both days)
    - £30 food (although have spent £11.37 of this already today)
    - £30 weekend away (me and OH are putting in £30 each which should be plenty for 2 days away)
    - £30 electricity bill

    Thanks monz :)

Payday again today :T so have moved all the money where it's supposed to be.

I have blown the weeks (and the months) food budget by going to the supermarket today and spending £28.68. Lots of yummy food in though and plenty to go in the freezer so hopefully won't spend so much the week after. I might have to review the monthly food budget anyway as normally I eat a lot of my meals at work but I have been taking in my own food since I started the GF diet. So I might need to up it a little. I'll keep it at £120 for next month and see how I go.

Time to review last months goals and set next months ones

    May
    - £100 in the emergency fund currently sitting at £112.63 :D
    - £150 in wedding fund have this due to taking loan repayment holiday
    - electricity bill paid and £30 put by for the next one :D
    - birthday cards/presents done plus I've made the June cards already :D

    June
    - £200 in the emergency fund
    - £80 in electricity fund
    - £100 payment to the loan, to cover the interest and extra to make up for taking a payment holiday
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10552.61/£15000 (70.4% saved). Emergency fund - £1437.01/£1500 (95.8% saved).

A very quick post tonight as I'm tired from travelling back up. I had a fab weekend away with OH, spent most of our budget but have enough money in my purse to get to work tomorrow. I start at 7am  and its too far to walk.

Mini targets have been reset to 0 for the new month tomorrow and I've set a target of getting to £5400 by the end of June so at least I'll see a small reduction in the debt.
