Re ppi

Hi can anybody advise me. Have been pushed along by the claim guys to pursue ppi from banks and credit cards. Unfornutely the banks which i did not want to claim back off was invovlved in bankrupsy. Tried to stop the claim guys. But they said there is protacol that that have to go through. Now im worried i will be left to pay out a large sum to the claim guys. Can anyone advise me what too do please
