Do MBNA own Egg?

Just wondered. My card starts 5186 if that's any use. Would be helpful to know if anyone has any thoughts.

Thanks for your responses. I'm just about to start a Debt Management Plan with CCCS and my Egg debt has come back from them listed as MBNA so I'm sensing that must be a mistake? Would hate to pay the wrong people!

Just as a matter of interest you will find cards starting with '5' are Mastercards whilst cards starting with '4' are visa.0
